This battery operated poly bander is made for both polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) banding. It will accommodate poly strap sizes from 3/8" to 3/4" with a simple adjustment to the bander. The Orgapack ORT-50 is an entry level bander that has a low price and offers great duality yet still gives the advantage of a friction weld seal that eliminates the "metal clip" or seal. This is the model bander that Orgapack replaced the ORT-83 with. This is primarily the same poly bander, but was slightly changed to accommodate the heavy poly strapping that is in today's market.
The Orgapack ORT-50 allows the user to manually tension the banding by ratcheting the handle. After the desired tension is applied, with the same handle, you are able to use the battery function to seal the banding for a friction weld seal. This is done with a rechargeable 12V battery that has eliminated the electric cords or air lines that makes it totally portable.
